Disney Style: Small Shop Edition

Hi Pixies! I am so excited for this special edition Disney Style post! Shopping small is my favorite way to dress for the parks. The shirts, tank tops, and sweaters are nothing like you could find on the Shop Parks App. Disney lovers from all over the country, and world, put their blood, sweat, and tears into making special merchandise for fellow Disney lovers. You can find small shops through Etsy, or my favorite way, through Instagram. Instagram opened up so many doors for me when it came to the small shop community, one page lead to another and then to another. There is a whole world of shops out there that people don't know about! There is something so special about supporting someone and their entrepreneur endeavors. Let's get into the clothing!

My favorite time of the year to shop small is during the holidays. Small shops really seem to shine during these times of the year,  putting their creative juices to work to tie together our beloved Disney and traditional holidays. In the first picture, the Lost Bros, combined one of their most well known designs, the mickey waffle tee, and added a Christmas overlay! Who doesn't love food, Disney, and Christmas?! In the second photo, Its a Magical Adventure , took The Haunted Mansion, a crowd favorite ride, and turned it into exactly what it is for a t-shirt. A spooky mansion that glowed in the dark for Halloween!

Festival season is also a great time to shop small. The first tee from, Happily Ever Tees , is inspired by the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. The second, from D3tees, brought the Flower and Garden Festival on to a pocket! I love having mementos from the festivals that aren't made by Disney specifically, but remind me of them and the wonderful memories I made.

Now let's talk park inspired tees! I am a sucker for tees that showcase the beautiful, Cinderella's Castle. Pixie Lee & Co and Its a Magical Adventure did this amazingly on their tees. While Livin' It Outfitters perfectly made a tee for a day at Animal Kingdom. Featuring the inspiring quote, "Never Take More Than You Give" from The Lion King.

Moving on towards movie inspired merchandise, starting off with another Lost Bros Tee, featuring the beauty of Coco. Next, from one of my all time favorite movies, but not necessarily a Disney one. Remember the Magic Co took the amazing quote, "A Million Dreams For The World We're Gonna Make" from The Greatest Showman and turned into a quote representing Walt and Mickey. I am obsessed with that tee. From the Incredibles, The Lost Bros took Edna and her suit making company and mashed it up with a Gucci inspired logo. Again, supper unique and wearable for men and women!

Character inspired tees are up next! Another beauty from Pixie Lee & Co is this Avatar tank. Mashed up with a hit song from the early 2000's "I'm Blue", it is the perfect way to showcase the beauty of the blue Avatars and is perfect for a day in Pandora in Animal Kingdom. D3tees does it again with the pockets, bringing a very underappreciated character, Donald Duck, to life in pixel form!

Just like this next tank from Magic Made Co, I can't stop and I won't stop purchasing from small shops! These shops, and many many more work so hard to create the Disney inspired merchandise we all want and love! The owners put their all into making sure everything is perfect for their customers and even ensures their customers will receive the merchandise in time for their next trip to the parks. They deserve as much love and support as the Disney official merchandise. The shops I posted don't even make a dent into the amount of shops there are out there. I showed such a very small amount of  my collection and the collections of the shops, there is so much more out there to explore! I just want to say a great big THANK YOU to all the small shops out there! Keep on keeping on! Until next time Pixies!
