Epcot's Festival of the Arts

Hi everyone! This week I wanted to share some of my favorite things about Epcot's Festival of the Arts...aside from the amazing artwork! One of my favorite things about any festival at Epcot is the scavenger hunts you can do throughout the world showcase. This year, you had to find a historic painting in each country that had a touch of Figment in it. You mark which paintings are in which countries along the map and after they are filled in you can receive your prize! The prize this year was a pin *insert squeal here because pins*! You had the choice between four pins which all included Figment! The map itself is $6.99 which I thought was totally worth it, considering the prize!

Another favorite of mine, and probably a favorite of most children, was the Art Walk. You walked into each Country learned more about the culture of the country, found the marked art piece, and etched the art given on the sheet of paper matching the country in the back of the Festival of Arts passport. It was pretty interesting getting a deeper look into the culture of the countries all while learning of their beautiful art.

Finally, my favorite part of the Festival of Arts was the paint by numbers! It was so fun being apart of a beautiful mural, plus paint by numbers is a non-creative persons dream! The aspect of the paint by numbers really made you feel involved in the festival, as if you were making your mark in it too, along with all of the talented artists. The mural is always changing too, thanks to the 100s of guests coming into the park to paint on it each day. It is fun to go in and see the new mural and being able to see the previously painted ones as well!

All in all, the Festival of Arts is fun for the whole family! I did try a couple snacks as well, but this festival is seriously ALL about the Art, and that is what makes it so fun. You are learning more about different cultures and their art techniques, as well as getting the chance to tap into your own art skills! 10/10 recommend this festival, and if you love just relaxing and looking at beautiful art pieces, this is for you too! Until next time Pixies!
